pyxem.utils.diffraction.gain_normalise(z, dref, bref)[source]#

Apply gain normalization to experimentally acquired electron diffraction pattern.

Parameters:
  • z (numpy.ndarray) – Two-dimensional data array containing signal.

  • dref (ElectronDiffraction2D) – Two-dimensional data array containing dark reference.

  • bref (ElectronDiffraction2D) – Two-dimensional data array containing bright reference.

Returns:

z1 – Two dimensional data array of gain normalized z.

Return type:

np.array()
